Living Water Christian Cruise:
Statement of Faith
At Living Water Christian Cruise, we are committed to creating Christ-centered experiences that encourage fellowship, worship, spiritual growth, and biblical truth. While guests may come from different church backgrounds, the beliefs shared and taught on our cruises are rooted in the core truths of the historic Christian faith.
We believe:
1. The Bible: The Bible is the inspired, true, and authoritative Word of God. It is our foundation for faith, teaching, and daily living.
2. One God: There is one true God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and will come again in glory.
4. Salvation: Salvation is by the grace of God alone, through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It cannot be earned by good works, but is received as the free gift of God.
5. The Cross and Resurrection: Through His death and resurrection, Jesus provides forgiveness of sins, victory over death, and eternal life for all who believe in Him.
6. The Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit indwells and empowers believers, leads them into truth, convicts of sin, and helps them live a life that honors Christ.
7. The Church: The Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers, called to worship God, grow in faith, serve others, and share the Gospel with the world.
8. Christian Living: Believers are called to live lives of love, holiness, humility, integrity, and obedience to God, reflecting the character of Christ in the world.
9. Unity in Christ: We celebrate the unity of believers in Jesus Christ and seek to focus on the essential truths of the Gospel while showing grace in areas where Christians may differ.
10. Our Mission Onboard: Everything taught, shared, and discussed on Living Water Christian Cruise is intended to point people to Jesus Christ, encourage spiritual growth, and build authentic Christian community. We call disciples into the ship to equip them to go out and make disciples, living out the mission of Christ in their everyday lives.
Our Theme Verse: “but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” — John 4:14
