Refund policy
Living Water Christian Cruise (LWCC) Cancellation & Refund Policy
Operator/Carrier: Royal Caribbean International (“Royal Caribbean” or “Operator”)
Host Group: Living Water Christian Cruise (“LWCC”)
Effective Date / Version: 01/01/2026
This policy applies to bookings made through LWCC for Royal Caribbean sailings attended as a group. It also applies to LWCC ticketed events where noted.
⸻
Policy Version Control & Operator Changes
LWCC Version Control: For LWCC-administered terms, the policy version provided in your booking confirmation/invoice controls for your reservation.
Operator Control: Royal Caribbean’s Ticket Contract, fare rules, promotional terms, cancellation charges, and refund policies are incorporated by reference and control at all times, including if Royal Caribbean updates them after you book. If there is any conflict between this LWCC policy and Royal Caribbean’s terms, Royal Caribbean’s terms control. LWCC is not responsible for discrepancies caused by Operator policy updates.
LWCC Is Not the Cruise Line
LWCC is an independent host group/event organizer and is not the owner or operator of the vessel. Royal Caribbean controls ship operations, itinerary, ports, onboard services, boarding decisions, and enforcement of the Ticket Contract and fare rules. LWCC does not guarantee any sailing, itinerary, ports, schedule, or Operator performance.
⸻
1) Definitions
“Cruise” means the Royal Caribbean sailing shown on your reservation.
“Total Price” means the total amount paid for your reservation through LWCC for the Cruise, including any LWCC conference programming and group activities that are bundled into the booking price.
Total Price does NOT include:
-
Travel protection / insurance
-
Gratuities
-
Onboard purchases, incidentals, or expenses charged onboard
Bundled Programming: If LWCC programming/group activities are bundled into the booking price, they are not separately refundable and remain subject to the same cancellation rules unless LWCC states otherwise in writing.
⸻
2) Deposits & Fare Programs (Including Nonrefundable Deposits)
Some Royal Caribbean fare programs require a nonrefundable deposit paid at the time of booking. Whether your deposit is refundable or nonrefundable depends on the specific fare, promotion, or booking type attached to your reservation.
If your booking includes a nonrefundable deposit, that deposit amount will not be refunded after it has been paid, except where prohibited by law. Change fees and/or restrictions may apply based on fare rules.
Nonrefundable Deposit Cancellations (outside of final payment):
If a nonrefundable deposit cancellation occurs, the full deposit amount will be held in penalty. Any additional payments made beyond the deposit may be refunded subject to the cancellation schedule below, the Operator’s fare terms, and the Ticket Contract.
Nonrefundable deposits are nonrefundable for any reason, including illness, weather, work conflicts, travel delays, or force majeure, except where prohibited by law.
⸻
3) Cancellation of Cruise (Applies to Total Price)
Cruises cancelled prior to the sail date may be subject to a cancellation charge. The amount is determined by how far in advance of the sail date LWCC receives and confirms your written cancellation request, subject to the Operator’s fare rules and Ticket Contract.
Cancellation notices are effective only when received and confirmed in writing by LWCC (see Section 7).

⸻
4) Taxes/Fees
In the event of a cancellation, applicable taxes/fees, port charges, government fees, or fuel supplement charges (if applicable) shall be refunded only as permitted by Royal Caribbean’s fare rules and Ticket Contract.
For bookings made outside of the United States and Canada, different cancellation policies may apply.
⸻
5) No-Shows / Missed Boarding / Early Disembarkation
Cancellation by the passenger after the Cruise has begun, early disembarkation for any reason, or no-shows are without refund, compensation, or liability.
This includes, without limitation:
-
Missed embarkation / late arrival
-
Denied boarding or removal
-
Failure to obtain or present required travel documents (passport, visas, ID, etc.)
-
Failure to comply with Operator/port/venue rules, health requirements (if applicable), or payment requirements
-
Any unused portion of the Cruise for any reason
⸻
6) Payments, Processing Time, and Refund Method
Payment Processing (Authorization Forms)
LWCC may collect payment via online authorization forms provided by email. Charges may not process immediately and may take up to seven (7) business days to be submitted/processed through Royal Caribbean and/or applicable payment processors.
Refund Method and Timing
Approved refunds (if any) are generally returned to the original form of payment. Refund timing varies and may take additional time due to Operator processing and bank/payment processor timelines.
LWCC can only refund amounts actually authorized and returned under the Operator’s fare rules, Ticket Contract, and payment processor requirements. LWCC is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card networks, or payment processors, and does not pay interest on refunds.
⸻
7) How to Cancel (Required Written Notice)
All cancellations must be submitted only by email to:
info@livingwaterchristiancruise.com
Notices sent to any other email address may not be received and will not be considered effective.
Required Email Subject Line
CANCELLATION REQUEST – [Last Name] – [Sailing Date]
Required Information in the Email
-
Booking/Reservation ID
-
Full name(s) on the reservation
-
Phone number
-
Reason for cancellation (for recordkeeping only; does not change the cancellation schedule)
Requests missing required information may be treated as incomplete and are not effective until LWCC receives the required information and confirms receipt in writing.
Confirmation Requirement (Business Hours)
Cancellations are considered received only when acknowledged/confirmed by LWCC in writing.
If you do not receive a confirmation email within seventy-two (72) business hours (Mon–Fri), you must contact LWCC again. Screenshots of “sent” emails do not constitute receipt. Guests are responsible for checking spam/junk folders and ensuring LWCC confirmation is received.
⸻
8) Name Changes
LWCC can assist with name change requests at no charge; however:
-
Royal Caribbean has full authority to approve or deny name change requests based on fare rules, timing, and documentation requirements.
-
At least one original guest from the reservation must remain on the booking at all times. If no original guest remains, the change may be treated as a cancellation and new booking under Operator rules.
-
Name changes are not guaranteed.
-
Any Operator fees, documentation costs, and any fare difference resulting from a name change are the guest’s responsibility.
⸻
9) Travel Protection, Add-ons, and Third-Party Purchases
Travel protection/insurance, airfare, hotels, transfers, shore excursions, specialty dining, spa/photography, pre-purchased amenities, and other add-ons are governed by the separate terms and conditions for those purchases. Insurance premiums are typically nonrefundable once purchased, subject to the insurer’s terms.
⸻
10) Cancellations or Delays by Royal Caribbean
If Royal Caribbean cancels a voyage, or delays embarkation by three (3) days or more, and you elect not to sail on the delayed voyage or a substitute voyage offered, you may be eligible for a refund or future cruise credit (FCC) under Royal Caribbean’s policies. Eligibility is determined solely by Royal Caribbean.
LWCC sailings are regular Royal Caribbean sailings attended as a group (not charter sailings). Refund requests must typically be made within the Operator’s stated time limits (which may change), often within six (6) months of the cruise cancellation date or the scheduled embarkation date (whichever is earlier).
⸻
11) Promotional Fares / Special Offers
Royal Caribbean and/or LWCC reserve the right to offer promotional fares or other offers that may modify deposit, change, and cancellation rules. If a promotional fare includes different rules, the guest’s booking confirmation/invoice and Operator fare terms control.
⸻
12) Limitation of Liability
LWCC is not responsible for acts, omissions, policy changes, or decisions of Royal Caribbean or any third-party supplier, including itinerary changes, schedule changes, denied name-change requests, onboard service issues, delays, cancellations, or changes to fare terms.
LWCC does not guarantee refunds beyond what is authorized under the applicable Royal Caribbean fare rules, Ticket Contract, and payment processor requirements. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LWCC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
⸻
13) Force Majeure (Events Outside Our Control)
LWCC and Royal Caribbean are not liable for delays, cancellations, itinerary changes, or losses caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, public health emergencies/pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, travel restrictions, port closures, labor strikes, or operational/mechanical issues. In such events, refunds and/or future cruise credits (if any) will be handled in accordance with Royal Caribbean’s policies and the applicable fare terms.
⸻
14) Disputes, Chargebacks, and Fraud Prevention
Submitting a chargeback or payment dispute may result in cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of amounts paid, subject to applicable fare terms and Operator rules.
Before filing a dispute/chargeback, the guest agrees to contact LWCC at info@livingwaterchristiancruise.com and allow a reasonable opportunity to investigate and respond.
If a chargeback or dispute is submitted in an attempt to recover funds outside of the published cancellation/refund rules, LWCC may deem the guest ineligible to participate in future Living Water Christian Cruise events and/or future Living Water events, in addition to any actions taken by the Operator and/or payment processor.
LWCC may require written verification or documentation to protect against fraud and unauthorized cancellation requests.
⸻
15) Ticketed Events (Nonrefundable / No-Show Policy)
This section applies to any LWCC ticketed event (onboard or on land) sold separately from the Cruise fare.
-
All ticketed event sales are final. Unless otherwise required by law or explicitly stated in writing by LWCC, tickets are nonrefundable once purchased.
-
No-shows are not eligible for refunds. If you do not attend for any reason—including illness, travel delays, weather, scheduling conflicts, or failure to meet entry requirements—no refund, credit, transfer, or reschedule will be provided.
-
Entry requirements. Admission may require valid identification, confirmation email/receipt, and compliance with venue/event rules. Failure to present required documentation or comply with rules will be treated as a no-show and remains nonrefundable.
-
Event changes. LWCC may adjust event details (time, location, speakers/program, format). Changes do not automatically entitle a ticket holder to a refund. If LWCC cancels the event and a refund is offered, refunds (if any) will be issued to the original payment method.
-
Ticket disputes. Ticket holders agree to contact LWCC first at info@livingwaterchristiancruise.com to resolve ticketing issues prior to filing a payment dispute/chargeback.
⸻
16) Questions, Concerns, and Contact Information
If you have questions or need help understanding this policy, contact LWCC:
Email (preferred): info@livingwaterchristiancruise.com
To help us assist you quickly, include:
-
Booking/Reservation ID
-
Full name(s) on the reservation
-
A brief description of your question or concern
LWCC responds during business hours (Mon–Fri). For cancellations, you must follow Section 7. Customer service emails do not cancel a reservation unless they meet Section 7 requirements and are confirmed in writing.
⸻
17) Governing Law; Severability; No Waiver
Governing Law / Venue: This policy is governed by Florida law. Venue and jurisdiction shall be in a court of competent jurisdiction in Broward County, Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Severability: If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
No Waiver: LWCC’s failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of LWCC’s right to enforce it later.
⸻
18) Giveaway Prizes (No Refunds / No Cash Value / Shipping & Forfeiture)
-
No purchase / no refund. Giveaway prizes are awarded free of charge and are not purchases. Therefore, no refunds, credits, chargebacks, or reimbursements apply to giveaway prizes for any reason.
-
No cash value / no substitutions by winner. Giveaway prizes have no cash value and are not exchangeable for cash. Winners may not request a different item, color, size, itinerary, cabin type, or other substitution unless LWCC explicitly approves it in writing.
-
Shipping costs and delivery timing (if applicable). If a prize requires shipping, LWCC will ship to the address provided by the winner (where available). Delivery times are estimates only. LWCC is not responsible for carrier delays, customs delays, or delivery issues once the prize is handed to the carrier. International winners may be responsible for duties, taxes/VAT, and customs fees unless LWCC states otherwise in the giveaway announcement.
-
Claim deadline / forfeiture (24 hours). Winners must respond and provide any required information (name, email, shipping address, size, etc.) within twenty-four (24) hours of notification (or the deadline stated in the giveaway announcement). If the winner does not respond in time, fails verification, or cannot accept delivery, the prize may be forfeited and LWCC may select an alternate winner.
-
Incorrect or incomplete address (winner pays). Winners are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. If a winner provides an incorrect or incomplete address that causes a failed delivery, return-to-sender, or additional carrier fees, the winner must pay any reshipping costs. If the winner does not pay reshipping costs, the prize may be forfeited.
-
Prize condition / defects. Unless otherwise stated, prizes are awarded “as is.” If a prize arrives damaged due to shipping, the winner must notify LWCC within one (1) day of delivery with photos of the item and packaging so LWCC can assist with a carrier claim or determine a resolution.
-
Right to substitute or cancel. LWCC reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, or to modify/suspend/cancel a giveaway, if the prize becomes unavailable, fulfillment is not possible, fraud is suspected, or circumstances beyond LWCC’s control occur (including supplier issues, shipping restrictions, or force majeure). No compensation is owed beyond awarding the substitute prize (if applicable).
-
Disputes / chargebacks. Any attempt to obtain money through a chargeback, dispute, or demand related to a giveaway prize is invalid because no purchase was made. Participants agree to contact LWCC first at info@livingwaterchristiancruise.com to resolve any giveaway prize issues.
⸻
NOTICE: Sections 19–37 apply ONLY to LWCC merchandise and physical product purchases (the “LWCC Store”). These sections do not apply to cruise bookings.
19) Shipping Windows, Delays, and FTC Order Rule Compliance (Merchandise)
This Returns & Exchanges Policy applies to all merchandise and physical products purchased from Living Water Christian Cruise (“LWCC,” “we,” “us,” “our”) through our website, online checkout, invoice links, social media checkout links, or any LWCC-authorized sales channel. By placing an order, you agree to this Returns & Exchanges Policy.
LWCC may update this policy from time to time. The version posted at the time of your order will generally apply to that order unless a change is required by law.
Contact: info@livingwaterchristiancruise.com
⸻
20) General Rule: Limited Returns and Exchanges Only
LWCC does not accept returns or exchanges for preference-based reasons, including but not limited to:
-
changed mind
-
no longer wanting the item
-
not liking the item
-
buyer’s remorse
-
ordering by mistake
-
other preference-based reasons
Returns, exchanges, store credit, refunds, replacements, or other remedies may be considered only if the item is:
-
defective
-
damaged
-
missing from the order
-
materially incorrect
-
the wrong size than what was actually ordered
All requests are subject to LWCC review and approval.
⸻
21) Request Deadlines
Any request for a return, exchange, replacement, store credit, refund, or other resolution must be made within seven (7) days after delivery.
For claims involving:
-
damage
-
defects
-
wrong item
-
wrong size sent
-
missing items
the customer must contact LWCC the same day the package is delivered, unless LWCC chooses to make an exception in its sole discretion.
Failure to report an issue within the required timeframe may result in denial of the request.
⸻
22) Item Condition Requirements
To qualify for any approved return or exchange, the item must be:
-
unused
-
unwashed
-
unworn
-
free of stains, damage, or alteration
-
free of odors (including perfume, smoke, detergent, deodorant)
-
free of excessive lint, hair, pet hair, or contamination
If tags were included, tags must still be attached unless LWCC determines otherwise.
LWCC may deny a return, exchange, refund, store credit, replacement, or any remedy if the item does not meet these condition requirements.
⸻
23) Final Sale / Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund unless required by law or unless LWCC approves an exception in writing:
-
sale items
-
clearance items
-
personalized or custom items
-
gift cards
-
used items
-
worn items
-
washed items
-
altered items
-
items not in original returnable condition
In addition, event-based or cruise-exclusive merchandise may become non-returnable after fourteen (14) days from the event start date.
⸻
24) Wrong Size Claims
If LWCC sends a size different from the size actually ordered, LWCC may, in its discretion, offer a replacement, exchange, store credit, refund, or another resolution.
If the customer ordered the wrong size, any return, exchange, store credit, refund, or other resolution is entirely at LWCC’s discretion.
If a requested replacement size is unavailable, the customer may be offered one of the following, if approved by LWCC:
-
store credit
-
refund
-
waitlist option
-
item of equal value
⸻
25) Approved Remedies (LWCC Discretion)
If LWCC approves a request, LWCC may choose, in its sole discretion, to provide one or more of the following:
-
exchange
-
replacement
-
store credit
-
refund to the original payment method
-
partial refund
-
another resolution LWCC deems appropriate
LWCC is not required to provide any specific remedy simply because a request is submitted.
Any remedy offered in one situation does not create a precedent or ongoing obligation for future orders.
⸻
26) Return Shipping Responsibility
If LWCC approves a return or exchange:
-
for a damaged item or incorrect item sent by LWCC, LWCC may cover return shipping or provide instructions at LWCC’s discretion;
-
for buyer-caused issues (including ordering the wrong size), the customer is responsible for return shipping and related costs.
LWCC may require the customer to use a specific return method or shipping label.
Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If a refund is issued, it will generally apply to the item price only, unless LWCC decides otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise.
⸻
27) Approval Required Before Any Return
Customers must contact LWCC and receive approval before sending any item back.
All requests must be sent to: info@livingwaterchristiancruise.com
Please include:
-
full name
-
order number
-
receipt or proof of purchase
-
description of the issue
-
photos of the item
-
photos of the packaging
-
photo of the shipping label
-
any other supporting information LWCC requests
LWCC may deny any request that lacks sufficient proof.
⸻
28) Unauthorized Returns Not Accepted
LWCC does not accept unauthorized returns.
Any package sent back without prior LWCC approval may be refused, ignored, returned to sender, or not processed.
LWCC is not responsible for packages sent back without authorization.
⸻
29) Deadline to Send Back Approved Returns
If LWCC approves a return or exchange, the customer must send the item back within five (5) days of approval, unless LWCC states otherwise in writing.
The customer must also provide proof of shipment within that five (5) day period.
If the item is not shipped back on time, or proof of shipment is not provided on time, LWCC may cancel the approval and deny the return, exchange, refund, store credit, replacement, or other remedy.
⸻
30) Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Missing Items
If an item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing, the customer must notify LWCC the same day as delivery, unless LWCC chooses to make an exception in its sole discretion.
LWCC may require:
-
photos of the item
-
photos of all packaging
-
photo of the shipping label
-
order number
-
receipt or purchase confirmation
-
any other information reasonably needed to investigate the issue
LWCC reserves the right to determine whether an item is actually defective, damaged, incorrect, or missing, and what remedy, if any, will be offered.
⸻
31) Returned Items Not in Acceptable Condition
If an item returned to LWCC is worn, washed, used, altered, damaged by the customer, missing tags, contaminated, or otherwise not in returnable condition, LWCC may, in its sole discretion:
-
reject the return
-
deny the exchange
-
deny the refund
-
issue only a partial refund
-
issue store credit instead of a refund
-
return the item to the customer at the customer’s expense
⸻
32) Delivered-but-Not-Received Packages
If tracking shows a package was delivered but the customer says it was not received, that issue is handled under LWCC’s Shipping Policy, not this Returns & Exchanges Policy.
Delivered-but-not-received claims generally must be taken up with the carrier. The customer should contact the carrier and open a claim/case as applicable.
LWCC may assist if it chooses, but LWCC is not required to provide a refund, replacement, or exchange for a package marked delivered by the carrier, except where required by law.
⸻
33) No Order Cancellations (Merchandise Orders)
LWCC does not allow order cancellations once an order has been placed.
However, for preorder or made-to-order items, LWCC may allow cancellation before production begins, in LWCC’s sole discretion.
Once production has started, cancellation is not allowed unless LWCC states otherwise in writing.
⸻
34) Shipping Windows, Delays, and FTC Order Rule Compliance (Merchandise)
LWCC’s shipping estimates, pickup timelines, and delivery windows are estimates and may change due to inventory availability, production timelines, cruise/event fulfillment scheduling, carrier delays, customs processing, force majeure, or other circumstances outside LWCC’s control.
To the extent applicable to merchandise/physical product orders, LWCC intends to comply with the Federal Trade Commission’s Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule (the “FTC Order Rule”). When required by law:
-
LWCC will have a reasonable basis for advertised shipping times, and
-
if LWCC cannot ship within the stated time (or within a reasonable time if no time is stated), LWCC may provide notice and, when required, the option to consent to delay or cancel for a refund of amounts paid for unshipped merchandise (subject to any nonrefundable items/services already provided, if applicable).
⸻
35) International Orders
International orders are not eligible for return or exchange unless LWCC approves otherwise in writing or applicable law requires otherwise.
Customs fees, import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and return shipping costs for international orders are the customer’s responsibility unless LWCC expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
⸻
36) LWCC Discretion
Any exception to this policy is entirely at LWCC’s sole discretion.
LWCC reserves the right to:
-
approve or deny any request
-
determine whether submitted proof is sufficient
-
determine whether an item qualifies for return or exchange
-
choose the appropriate remedy
-
limit remedies
-
require additional documentation
-
make exceptions on a case-by-case basis
Any exception made in one case does not require LWCC to make the same exception in another case.
⸻
37) Related Policies and Conflicts
This Returns & Exchanges Policy should be read together with LWCC’s Shipping Policy, Terms of Service, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict, the more specific policy for the transaction or issue will control unless applicable law requires otherwise.
